The Road to START Summit on December 11th is the annual pitch event presented by START Vienna, a dynamic platform that brings together students, innovative startups, and visionary investors.
The Road to START Summit is a series of events organized by START chapters throughout Europe. These events serve as warm-up gatherings leading up to the START Summit, which will be held in St. Gallen on March 19 and 20, 2026. The goal of these events is to identify a promising startup that will represent START Vienna at the START Summit and pitch their startup in St. Gallen.
On December 11th at 7:00 PM, the Road to START Summit Vienna brings together founders, students, and innovators for an evening of pitches, ideas, and connections. Experience the spirit of START Summit — right here in Vienna.
The Road to START Summit Vienna takes place at Die Hauswirtschaft, Bruno-Marek-Allee 5/1, 1020 Vienna. It is a vibrant space in the heart of the city, designed for collaboration, creativity, and bold ideas.
1. Your startup was founded in 2023 or later
2. Your startup is in the Seed or Pre-Seed stage
3. You have to be an independent legal entity
4. We have no limitations regarding the amount of funding you have already received
5. Extra points if your startup has a deep tech focus
The Road to START Hack serves as a warm-up hackathon for the START Summit. RTSH is a weekend-long event where students from around the world come together to work on new software and/or hardware projects. Therefore, the Road to START Hack is a hackathon, whereas the Road to START Summit is a pitching competition.
It will take place on 11 December 2025, at the HausWirtschaft, Vienna. The following START Summit in St. Gallen, Switzerland, will be from 19 to 20. March 2026.
Participation is entirely free of charge. Startups are required to apply, and attendees must register in advance.
